Molly the Barn Owl Live Web Cam
Link: http://tinyurl.com/ya4bzp6
This barn owl family is quickly becoming America's most watched family. A man in California has set up a web-cam in an owl nest box 15 feet off the ground.
Follow up:
Molly and her mate, McGee, had 6 eggs (one has broken.) Two of the eggs recently hatched and viewers are anticipating the hatching of the other three by March 29th.
This can quickly become an addicting website to watch because it is so cool! Over the past half hour, we've watched Molly eat and feed rabbit to the babies, groom her hatchlings and turn the eggs.
Science can be explored in a number of fun venues. This owl web-cam can be a great starting point for learning more about owls, birds of prey, hatchlings, etc.
